I got an oil change at pep boys.
The first step to this was I needed to get into my car. Feeling a bit rushed I ran out of my room with a new pair of socks to grab my keys. Only to realize that my housemate had locked me in as is normal in my house as I drive the least. Once my roommate had unblocked me I needed to go I had spare time but only so much. Once I had gotten to Pepboys I had talked with the clerch and also left my keys. Feeling a little relieved, I decided to leave and grab some bubble tea since I likely had an hour to kill and wanted something to kill time with. After almost two hours and feeling pretty fed up they finally finished my oil change after some large delay. After which I finally was able to go home. The circumstance for this is that I need to drive my car to go places and I take care of my things. Though I don't drive much at college, I want to go home and see my girlfriend as I have not seen her in awhile. I have not seen her in awhile because I'm down at rowan while she's back home nearly 2 and ½ hours away. She also does not like to drive which does not help, also she's looking for a proper job as she is no longer in school. She graduated from her college over the summer and I used to drive up to see her while I was at community college and she was at a four year college. So I am left to drive to see her, which I don't mind as I'm fine with driving though I would like to see her more. We’ve been together for about two and a half years, i'm pretty happy with her and could not ask for more. We started dating back in community college but have known each other since high school. Luckily for me I was given a car after high school so thanks to that I am able to drive at my leisure. I got this in part from my grandmother who had left it for my mother who then gave it to me when I turned nineteen after high school. My grandmother rarely used it so it had low mileage however where i live it is roughly thirty miles from anything so my mileage has stacked up quickly so i need to take care of the car. Since if it breaks it I'm on my own to get a new one, and I would rather spend fifty dollars to fix it than five thousand dollars to replace it. As I am a college student and do not have large sums of money to throw at problems. I also live in an area where your neighbors are several miles away so walking is never an option. Though bringing us back to the point of an oil change I needed. I'm not familiar with Pepboys. I normally would go to my girlfriend's father or a place my family has gone to for years. So i didn't like going here however I have gone once and it is fine.
Nice job on this. Your exploration of the events surrounding a simple oil change was clear and specific.
