Gruesome Playground Injuries
It was written by the same man who wrote guard's of the Taj Majal. I liked that story so I figured I might enjoy this one aswell.
The part that resonated the most with me would probably have been where Doug was cleaned up and met Kayleen in the health facility. It felt like they both were where they wanted, Doug has a proper and good job. Where Keyleen had just started on her road to being a better person. As a student who likes to think they are also on their way to being a better person this connected with me as a start and end of journey.
Doug
Kayleen has no mother in her life. She walked out of on when she was young.
By the end of the play Doug is a beaten and bruised older man who is comfortable where he is. Kayleen is in a similar place except not beaten and bruised. They both have plenty of scars though they are opposites, Doug is physically scarred where Kayleen in mentally scarred. They meet years after the last time they saw each other and Kayleen wanted to see Doug for once where he doesnt care to see her anymore. Doug is happy with his life while Kayleen wants to see if she has actually changed and came to see him to see if she could actually heal him, if she really does have some power. Though she doesnt she is ready to find out where as before she couldn't stand to think of herself as a person who could change or help people for the better.

Good work on this. Let me ask you, WHY is Doug ready but Kaylenn is not? What is the difference. What changed for him?
