1. What play did you choose?
2. Why? (2 sentences)
I chose the play The Aliens because it is a play with three characters and there are three people in my group. Also, I thought it would be interesting as it the setting is in one place.
2. What moment in the story seems the most resonate with you? (3 sentences) - The point in the story that most resonates with me is when Evan joined KJ and Jasper on the Fourth of July. When Evan joined them it really showed a development of their friendship, and that he liked KJ and Jasper and wanted to be friends. It was this real moment of connection and a start of a friendship.
3. Who are you playing? KJ
4. List one example of their given circumstances? (1 sentence) One of KJs given circumstance is that he dropped out of his college, UVM.
5. What happens at the end of the play? (5 sentences) At the end of the play KJ tells Evan to take Jasper's guitar because none of his roommates want it. He is hesitant about it but KJ gives it to him. KJ then tells Evan to play him a song but Evan resists as he has to go back inside to work. However, KJ continues to insist, and Evan plays a songs and it ends by KJ telling him that he is going to go far.
Nice observations. The tricky - but also beautiful - thing about this play is how much Love they need and share with each other. There is a mask of coolness but also a love of sharing things that they find cool. I am excited to see those levels.
