1. What play did you choose?
Vigils
2. Why? (2 sentences)
After reading all of the little summaries of all the play choices, this one seemed the most interesting. A play about soul trapped on earth just applied to me the most.
3. What moment in the story seems the most resonate with you? (3 sentences)
If I had to be honest none of the moments really resonated with me, because I haven't lost many people in my life. But if I had to pick one it would be the flashback between the widow and her grandfather. Because it reminded me of my younger self who would always help my father do work around the house. And I still love to help my father around the house with anything he needs.
4. Who are you playing?
I'm playing the wooer and the body
5. List one example of their given circumstances? (1 sentence)
The husband of the widow was a firefighter and died in a fire while trying to save a baby but before his soul could leave to the after life the widow grabbed it and kept it in a box because she isn't ready to move eon.
6. What happens at the end of the play? (5 sentences)
At the end the widow finally lets the soul and body be free and she leaves to a field of marigolds to live her life and be happy.
The scene with the grandfather is very beautiful. I think seeing you play both the Body and the Soul is going to be a great challenge.
